Leading European electric vehicle charger manufacturer announces world premiere of new charging system in Norway
Ekoenergetyka, Europe’s leading manufacturer of electric vehicle chargers, is preparing to unveil a groundbreaking charging solution at this year’s Nordic EV Summit in Oslo. It has been announced that this world premiere of the new charging system will be held in the heart of Norway, a country known for its advanced EV infrastructure and environmentally friendly initiatives.
The Nordic EV Summit serves as a platform for industry leaders, decision-makers and innovators to exchange ideas, share insights and shape the future of electromobility. Ekoenergetyka’s participation in this prestigious event underlines its commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in the global electric vehicle ecosystem.
Despite being a relatively small market, Norway has become a pioneer in electromobility. In 2023 alone. 83% of all vehicle sales in Norway were battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and by January 2024 this figure had risen to an impressive 92.1%.
Against this backdrop of electrification, Ekoenergetyka, a leading provider of charging infrastructure solutions, is pleased to unveil its latest innovation – a ground-breaking charging station designed to meet the evolving needs of Norway’s growing electric vehicle market. The world premiere will take place at the prestigious Nordic EV Summit, held in the heart of Norway’s electromobility hub.
“This is a new era in the development of fast charging networks, thanks to state-of-the-art technology and reliability,” – Bartosz Kubik, co-founder and CEO of Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A., said. It is the fruit of the work of engineers and thousands of conversations with our customers, which allowed us to better understand what benefits are important to them in order to develop their charging infrastructure business more effectively.”
Norway is an exemplary example of the transition from fossil fuel dependence to electric vehicles (EVs) on a national scale. With ambitious plans to reduce CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, Norway is preparing the ground for a greener and more sustainable future. Ekoenergetyka hopes that this innovative solution will further accelerate the transition to electromobility in Europe and globally.
