Our Most Sustainable Paper Cups Yet!
Sustainable Materials – saving trees
Though these 8oz, 12oz and 16oz cups seem like just any other paper coffee cups – they are made from bamboo fibre rather than paper from trees. Whilst trees take many years to mature and harvest, bamboo is one of the worlds fastest growing plants – it can grow as quickly as 2 feet per day! The bamboo used to make our cups is also certified sustainable by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
Commercially Compostable
Before we launched
Bamboo Fiber Cups, our prototypes went through rigorous testing to ensure they were viable for commercial composting. Customers wanting to dispose via this method can be assured that the
Enviroware bamboo fibre double wall cups are certified
commercially compostable according to DIN EN 13432:2000-12 standard.
100% Recyclable with other paper waste
According to Statista (2021), we recycle around 71% of our waste paper and cardboard each year in the UK. This equates to 3.8 million metric tons being recycled to make new paper.
It’s easy for consumers to recycle paper and card at home as part of their curbside collections. So we have invested in testing using the Papercycled
Recyclability Assessment. We can now confirm the cups have been issued a Grade A certification for recycling. As a result, bamboo fibre double wall cups can be recycled with other paper waste in standard paper mills!
